Sweet Spiced Caramel Apples with Crunchy Crumb Cobbler |

Servings: 20 4 oz. portions (5lbs) | | Applesauce Seasoning is great with any sweet desert to add a homemade comforting flavor profile. For a different flavor profile, try adding this mix to fruit salsas, savory meat sauces or use as a meat or seafood rub. | Ingredients: 2 1/2 Oz. Wiley's ® Sweet Potato & Yam Spice 3 lb. 3 oz. Apples, peeled 1/2 inch slices 2 oz. Sugar 3 ½ oz. Flour 6 1/3 oz. Oatmeal, uncooked - Old Fashioned 7 ½ oz. Brown Sugar ½ tsp. Salt ½ oz. Applesauce Seasoning 5 ½ oz. Butter or Margarine | | Preparation: - In a bowl, combine the apples, applesauce seasoning and sugar, and mix well.
- Spread out evenly on a sheet tray and bake for 20-30 minutes at 375ºF, until apples are tender with a bite.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, salt and applesauce seasoning. Pour in melted butter or margarine, and mix until crumbly.
- Lay cooked apples out in a 2-inch hotel pan packed ½ to ¾ inch high.
- Top apples evenly with the crumb topping and lightly press down.
- Bake at 375ºF for 30-35 minutes or until topping has slightly browned and apples are tender.
- Hold at 140°F or above, uncovered. Store at 40°F or below.
