 1. Will Uncle Wiley’s Seasonings & Spices be as successful as the gift wrap, chocolates, etc, that our group has been selling for years?

Every fundraising event is different. But past experience indicates that Wiley’s Seasonings & Spices can be just as successful as many other fundraising products, if not more so.

 2. Our group is small. Can our fundraiser still be as successful?

The number of participants makes no difference! The average Girl Scout sells more than 200 boxes of cookies during the annual cookie sale.

 3. What happens if the Wiley’s products are damaged on arrival?

Because all Wiley’s products are packaged in poly-foil pouches, they can’t be smashed, broken or tampered with. You are assured of a safe arrival every time.

 4. I’ve seen Wiley’s products in some of the grocery stores in our area. Will this retail presence have a negative impact on our fundraising effort?

No, just the opposite. The more people are exposed to Wiley’s products, the more they want them. People are happy to buy something they already know and love — especially if they can support your organization at the same time.

 5. Is there really a big market for spices?

Absolutely. More than 70% of U.S. households use seasonings and spices on a regular basis, and Wiley’s seasoning blends are so unique that people just have to try them. 

 6. Are Wiley’s Seasonings & Spices affordable, and can my organization make decent money selling them?

Yes, Wiley’s products are affordable. In fact, your customers can try four different products for $5.00 — and your organization makes 35%.

 7. Can we sell Wiley’s Seasonings & Spices two years in a row and be just as successful the second year?

Past experience shows that the second year is usually more successful, because people who are already aware of the quality and value of Wiley’s tend to buy even more than they did the year before. Especially if the sale is held during a major holiday period like Thanksgiving or Christmas.

 8. Are Wiley’s Seasonings & Spices priced higher for fundraising than for retail?

In many cases the fundraising price is the same. However, some pricing may be slightly higher due to the special packaging and services required to get our products safely to your organization.

 9.  What happens if we don’t sell everything we ordered?

It will never happen. Because you accept payment from your customers when they order, you’ve already sold everything before you place the order with us. There won’t be any “leftovers” to deal with.

 10. Are all of the Wiley’s Seasonings & Spices available for fundraising?

The entire line of Wiley’s Seasonings & Spices is available through the program. No retailer anywhere offers as complete a selection, all year round.
