Servings: 13.5 - 6 oz. portions (5lb.) Wiley's Dirty Rice Seasoning is a spice full flavored sensation that lends itself to many rice dishes, meats, and can also be used for rubs. Try it on vegetables for a more robust side dish. Ingredients 1 1/3 oz. Wiley's ® Dirty Rice Seasoning 2 lb. Ground Beef 5 ˝ oz. Tomato Paste or Ketchup 5 ˝ oz. Barbeque Sauce 1 lb. Tomatoes, canned crushed with juice 5 ˝ oz. Corn, frozen kernels 5 ˝ oz. Green Peppers, med dice 5 ˝ oz. Red Peppers, med dice 5 ˝ oz. Onion, med dice 1 oz. Oil .2 oz Salt Preparation: 1. In a pan, heat the oil and add the corn, peppers, and onions. Cook till lightly browned. 2. Add the ground beef, Dirty Rice Seasoning, and salt and cook till done stirring and scraping the bottom frequently. 3. Add the tomatoes, barbecue sauce, and tomato paste, stir and cook till hot and slightly thickened. 4. Hold at 140°F or above. Store at 40°F or below. TIP: This dish can be vegetarian as well if substituting the ground beef for vegetables. Serve in a bulky roll, in a tortilla wrap or stuff in a turnover for a meal on the go!!!
