1 medium red bell pepper 1 cup of pineapple , drained and trimmed into bits 1 stalk celery , minced romaine lettuce leaves , halved 1/2 red onion , diced in small bits 1/2 cup of Heinz chili sauce or catsup 1/4 cup of lite mayonnaise rye bread, 16 slices In mixing bowl combine all ingredients. Combine all fruits and vegetables (except lettuce) with mayonnaise and chili sauce. Mix until well blended. Place lettuce leaves on bread (toasted or un-toasted) slices. Makes 8 sandwiches. This recipe can easily be halved. Idea: Instead of rye bread, pita bread is another tasty way to serve this salad meal.
