PLUMS are in abundance in grocery stores from June through September. Purchase only firm to soft plums. Hard plums will not ripen to perfection. Let the plums sit uncovered in a bowl at room temperature. Plums should not be placed in direct sunlight for this will eliminate their Vitamin C content. |
